Meet Jasmyne

Jasmyne, RP, DTATI is a Registered Psychotherapist, Art Therapist & artist practicing out of Hamilton, ON. Jasmyne was called to art therapy, after the realization in her youth that art always felt like the best way to express herself and move through challenging times in life. Jasmyne felt inspired to share this method of emotional expression with others, who may feel emotionally stuck, or struggle to find fulfillment in traditional talk therapy.

Jasmyne works with youth & adults who are seeking to heal and expand through connection and creative expression. Jasmyne is passionate about the healing, cathartic release of creative expression and aims to provide gentle guidance, safety, and containment for clients during art therapy sessions.

Jasmyne enjoys movement and brings somatic, movement based aspects into session, remembering that the mind and body are connected, and that healing holistically is the most beneficial long term. Sessions are relation, eclectic, and person-centered, and offered through the lens of positive psychology, narrative therapy, and humanistic approaches.

Jasmyne has experience and training in areas such as anxiety, depression, grief & loss, substance abuse, dream symbolism and exploration, emotion regulation, self- esteem and self-worth. She has interests in eco-art therapy, sustainability, and nature-based art. Jasmyne is available for both in-person and virtual therapy appointments, and facilitates art-based group therapy workshops.
